Requirements for Joining:
1) All interested persons must be born-again, having accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
2) Your life must be ordered God, Family and then ministry. You must be able to commit and participate in ministry without damaging the standard and order God has set as your first ministry, to your immediate family.
3) Have a call and desire for ministry. Although we are social, we are not a social club, nor a bike club. We are a ministry with a calling to the biker community for the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
4) This is an evangelistic ministry, we do not promote modern evangelism, which includes friendship or relationship type evangelism. We are a ministry that believes in, promotes and teaches biblical evangelism. One of the requirements of membership is taking the foundation course from the Way of the Master. (http://thewayofthemaster.com) The reason for this is so that all members are on the same page when presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ. We understand that every person has a unique personality and is not a carbon copy of another and that God uses that in us, but there is a pattern that Jesus laid out for us and if it was good enough for Him and important enough for Him to show us, then it is very important that we get it, walk it out, do it and as a ministry be on the same page about it. The course can be done either in the applicant status or the prospect status. Materials will be provided.
5) If, in evaluating your family's needs and commitments you are unable to commit and participate to the level ministry requires, then you should prayerfully consider waiting until your life is such that you are free to enter into this ministry. We welcome your prayerful support and participation with us as your commitments & life allows.
6) If, after prayerful consideration of your life, thoughtful communication with your spouse and/or immediate family, and after reviewing the requirements below, you find that you are free to commit to the requirements of ministry with the support of spouse/immediate family without damage, we invite you to fill out a ministry application.
7) Once an application is filled out, please attend the next WAR meeting and formally turn it in to a chapter officer during the new business discussion. You will then officially be an applicant.
8) We understand that there may be some geographical limitations on some of the requirements listed below, but we are willing to deal with those on a person by person basis. Please feel free to contact us at the email address listed.
Applicant:
1) All applicants must meet the following requirements:
? Must own a motorcycle of 500cc's or higher. (Couple's owning 1 bike accepted)
? Serve hang around time - at least 3 months, but could be longer.
? Cannot be apart of or wear support patches of any other M/M or M/C.
? Learn protocols for interacting with bike clubs.
? Have a church visit by membership.
? Walk worthy of the name of Christ.
? Complete the Way of The Master Foundation Course.
2) During your hang around time you are responsible to attend:
? All ministry activities.
? All WAR Meetings. (Worship, Apprehend, Ready)
? All applicants are required to share their testimony before the chapter as a whole.
3) All applicants eligible for prospect status will be voted on by attending Full Patch members at the chapter's WAR Meeting.
4) If voted in for prospect status, you will receive your bottom rocker and be assigned a sponsor.
5) Prospect must contact sponsor at least once a week.
Prospect:
1) Prospecting time will be at least 3 months, but could be longer
2) All the above requirements must still be met.
3) Before Full Patch members vote, you will be asked questions from membership & you will have an opportunity to ask questions of the membership.
4) All prospects eligible for Full Patch will be voted on by attending Full Patch members at the chapter's WAR Meeting.
Full Patch:
1) As a Full Patch you are granted voting privileges on ministry issues within your chapter.
2) You are required to always, with or without your colors on:
? Walk worthy of the name of Christ.
? Walk worthy of wearing & representing your colors.
? Present the gospel of Jesus Christ biblically.
3) And to attend:
? Ministry Activities
? WAR Meetings
